Started out in my grandma's garden in Vancouver back when I was just a kid. She taught me that flowers aren't just decorations - they're conversations, memories, little pieces of magic you can hold in your hand.
2012 - The Beginning
Honestly? I started this whole thing in my apartment kitchen. Just me, some buckets from the hardware store, and flowers I'd pick up at 5am from the market. Friends kept asking me to do their weddings and events - guess word spread faster than I expected.
2015 - Going Green
This was a turning point for me. Saw way too much waste in the industry and it didn't sit right. Started sourcing locally, composting everything, ditching floral foam for sustainable alternatives. Lost a few clients who didn't get it, but gained so many more who actually cared.
2018 - The Granville Street Shop
Finally got our own storefront! Walking into 1847 Granville for the first time felt like coming home. The space had these huge windows and honestly, the light here is just perfect for working with flowers. We're still here and I can't imagine being anywhere else.
2021 - Subscription Revolution
People were stuck at home during the pandemic, needing something beautiful to look forward to. Our weekly subscription boxes became this lifeline - for them and honestly for us too. Still get messages from folks saying it saved their sanity during lockdown.
2023-2025 - Now & Beyond
We've grown to a team of six amazing designers. Each one brings their own vibe to the table, which keeps things fresh. We're doing more corporate work, bigger weddings, but still making sure every single arrangement - whether it's a huge installation or a simple sympathy bouquet - gets the same care.
